Artajasa and Ant International Form Global Digital Payment Partnership

Singapore, 21 January 2026 – PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis (Artajasa), the largest QRIS operator in Indonesia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ant International to strengthen cross-border payment integration and digital financial innovation.
The MoU was signed in Singapore by Artajasa President Director Armand Hermawan and Pan Yan, Head of Strategic Partnership Office for Alipay+, Ant International. The partnership aims to connect Indonesia’s payment infrastructure with Ant International’s global digital payment ecosystem, including the development of cross-border payments, AI-based solutions, and SME digitalization.
Artajasa currently connects more than 80,000 ATMs and supports over 41 million QRIS merchants across Indonesia. Meanwhile, Ant International, through Alipay+, links more than 1.8 billion user accounts with over 150 million merchants in more than 100 global markets.
Commenting on the collaboration, Armand Hermawan said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to building a connected, innovative, and sustainable payment ecosystem that supports Indonesia’s digital transformation.
